Admin Assistant

A client of mine who is a leading surfacing company is looking for an Admin Assistant to join their busy team based in Swindon, the purpose of the role is to take measurements and costs from the Supervisors who will be out on site and reporting back the measurements / tonnage of asphalt needed (take offs) , compiling this information into the tender that can then be submitted to the client with a financial value.

You will also receive information from the Supervisors about how the job is going, placing information from supervisors e.g. are they on track with the measurements originally proposed and if not, what additional costs are to be incurred and marking this against the tender, whilst checking they are not going over budget on any of the prices and make an early warning notice if they are close to going over the budget of the job and bringing this to the attention of the designated person to stop losing profit and addressing why this could be happening.

Qualifications
College graduate with a financial qualification e.g. AAT or Quantity Surveying / Finance Degree / HNC /HND / NVQ / City & Guilds.

Experience
Background within Surfacing. However, a groundworks or Civil Engineering experience will also be considered.

Hours Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm
Salary £25000-30000
20 days holiday per year
