I am currently working with a medium sized architectural practice based in Oxford who are recruiting for a professional and driven Architectural Technologist who is strong in both design and construction.

The practice specialise in the residential sector with the majority of their work coming in private house work and work to historic buildings.

Alongside the development of new build residential projects, the practice is renowned for their excellence within the repair, restoration and conservation work on projects that typically start at £1m with their most prestigious to date at £50m.

I am looking to speak with Architectural Technologists who have a passion for the residential sector and are comfortable working throughout all RIBA Stages.

The Technologist will be responsible for leading the detailed design process and coordinating design information. This means that you will be liaising with appropriate authorities such as planning and building inspections, when producing documentation for statutory approval.

Naturally, the technologist will need to understand the technical side of design and ensure that the right materials are used and that building regulations and other technical criteria are met, as you will be producing, analysing and advising on detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes to be used in projects.

Strong skills within AutoCAD are essential and the suitable technologist will have a logical, analytical and creative approach to problem solving.

Salary is based upon experience, interview and the influence you can bring to the team.
