I am currently working with an award-winning practice who are looking for an Associate Architect to join their established and busy studio in the East Midlands. The team forms part of an established multi-disciplinary office that have a fantastic reputation across the industry.
My client is a multi-disciplinary practice with a variety of diverse projects including: hospitality, leisure, workplace, education buildings, technical facilities and private one-off commissions. Experience in a variety of diverse project sectors is advantageous.
The Associate Architect opportunity will see the suitable candidate take the lead on projects, managing and overseeing small teams throughout the RIBA Plan of Work. Project delivery experience is essential and strong hands-on skills within both the design and technical stages of projects are desirable. An understanding and previous experience within a variety of project sectors is advantageous, as well as a strong understanding of technical complications and issues.
I am looking to speak with Associates that are both design and technically proficient and can demonstrate good detailed construction knowledge throughout their portfolio.
Experience with Revit would be preferred but not essential as training can be provided. Proficiency in 3D Sketchup and V-Ray is also desirable.
- Have 5 to 10 years of relevant UK experience
- RIBA Part-III qualification
- Architectural practice experience in the UK
- Strong writing ability
- Experience in variety of project sectors
- Confident, pro-active and determined
- Fluency in both spoken and written English
