A client of ours in Leicestershire is seeking a motivated person to join their In-House Repairs Team to carry out new installations and testing to housing stock across the district. You will be joining a busy team which under takes all types of maintenance / building works across a diverse range of occupied and vacant properties. Ideally you will be a multi-skilled operative who can carry out Planned Home Improvement Works this includes 1st and 2nd fix installs to the new kitchens and bathrooms and full house rewires. Preference will be given to previous re-wire experience.
To undertake all works to the required standard in accordance to current regulations following manufacturer’s instructions.
Working to the required timescales.
To liaise with the Asset Management Support Team to ensure job activities are scheduled effectively.
To utilise all tools, accessories and equipment issued in an appropriate manner.
Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Must hold a full driving license and supply own transport covered by business insurance
Two references held with agency, one being the last employer
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation Work or City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation) certificate or recognised industry equivalent.
City and Guilds 2382 (17th Edition) certificate or recognised industry equivalent.
City and Guilds 2391 (Inspection, Testing and Certification) certificate or recognised industry equivalent.
Willing to undertake and pass relevant training courses relating to legislation as and when required.
Conversant with the Electricity at Work Regulations, current edition of BS 7671 and Codes of Practice.

Hourly Rate DOE
Please not this role falls inside IR35.
