Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator

A client of mine is looking for a HSE coordinator to join their team. This position is ideal for someone who is new to Health & Safety and is looking to work for a large organisation who can invest in their future within Health & Safety. This specific role will have the main focus of risk assessment management and implementation of improvement throughout the organisation and you will report into the HSE Manager within your department

Within this position you will help support the existing HSE risk assessors to complete regular and irregular task risk assessments followed up with the technical advice on how to implement improvements and changes to all departments within the manufacturing site. In addition to this you will also be the support function to the wider HSE departments, responsibilities including delivery of inspections and HSE audits internally and externally. The overall purpose of this position is to ensure standardisation of best HSE practice across the whole site.

Qualifications and Experience

NEBOSH Certificate in Health & Safety (Desirable)
Background in a HSE position
Excellent communication experience
Broad Understanding of Health, Safety & Environment Legislation
Engineering or manufacturing experience would be desirable
