Stride are representing an engineering and construction business in the UK municipal water sector, who are responsible for the designing and building of infrastructure, in particular water and wastewater treatment works, pumping stations and reservoirs.

Our client is seeking a Senior Water Networks Engineer to prepare and manage civil engineering designs (both outline and detail) for clean water / wastewater networks. You will have a detailed understanding of Sewers for Adoption 7th Edition and experience of sewerage network design projects including UID (Unsatisfactory Intermittent Discharge) / CSO (Combined Sewer Overflow), DG5 Flood Alleviation, first time sewerage, sewer rehabilitation and sewage pumping station design.

You will be ideally degree qualified in Civil Engineering and will be chartered or approaching chartered status. You will have UK municipal water sector experience and knowledge, especially within clean water / wastewater networks. Experience within project management, stakeholder management and working in collaboration with other internal engineering teams would be advantageous.

Knowledge of Infoworks (ICM / CS), AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, GIS Systems and the ability to interpret results from hydraulic modelling would be desirable.
