Scott Thornton

Scott joined the STR Group in October 2014 to focus on building and developing a Built Environment business. Following a successful first year, we established a new brand to join the STR portfolio and took Stride to market in 2015.

After 6 years in the business, Scott has gone on to develop a stand-alone, specialist Architectural and Interior Design recruitment business called urban, that focuses on the UK and US markets.  With our niche Architectural business now set up separately, Stride specifically focuses on Building Design, Construction, Rail, Highways & Transportation along with Water & Utilities as our core markets.

Scott has over 15 years of experience working within the Built Environment sector starting his career as a trainee at a large corporate.
