Are you an experienced Accountant/Cashier/Sales Ledger looking for a new opportunity? Do you have the desire to head up a team, and bring the best out in the department? If so, I have a brilliant opportunity for and Accounts Receivable Team Leader.
My client, a nationwide Property Management company, are seeking a Accounts Receivable Team Leader to come and head up their vibrant team in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
The role:
- Day to day management of all personnel within the Cashier team
- Approval and monitoring of e-days for all employee absence requests
- Training of all new starters
- Signing off the daily check list for Cashiers
- Organising and sending out the weekly team rota and approval schedule
- Ensure all resources are managed effectively regarding cover within the team
- Daily processing of receipts through to bank reconciliations
- Investigation of all outstanding cash received and out of date cheques
- Investigation of differences on bank reconciliations
- Ensure team targets are met are high performance is maintained
- Dealing with account opening and closures
- Running daily ABTs
- Banking administration tasks
- Ensure that all backlogs are communicated and managed with minimal disruption to service and perception
- Provide support and problem solving for the team
- Arrange monthly meetings with the team
- Carrying out the 1st and 2nd approvals for banking
- Completing the staff on-boarding and off-boarding process
- Ad hoc Cashiering duties
You will require:
- High level of professionalism with the ability to inspire employees, internal and external stakeholders to comprehend and follow the Business Ethos.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills displaying a mature attitude in all verbal and written communications.
- Portrays confidence and enthusiasm, is organised, flexible and conspicuously reliable.
- Strong and influential leadership skills that follow a ‘can-do’ approach with the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels.
- Highly self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work under own initiative, takes ownership of responsibilities and drives positive change.
- Meticulous attention to detail, high level of accuracy and numeracy accompanying no less than 5 years of Cashiering/Sales Ledger experience.
- Team player and leader, with experience in managing projects and delivering to deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure, efficiently and in a timely manner together with excellent decision making capabilities.
