I am currently working with a leading world-renowned company on their requirement for an Architect / Designer to join their busy and expanding team.

With UK offices in Aberdeen, Manchester, Leeds and London, my client has a fantastic opportunity for an Architect / Designer to deliver new build and refurbishment projects across a diverse portfolio of project typologies in Healthcare, Education, Energy, Defence, Commercial, Sports & Leisure and Mixed-Use Office Workspace sectors.

The Architect/ Designer will be responsible for organising and controlling all architectural activities within projects at various RIBA Plan of Work stages (feasibility, concept design, working drawings, construction Stages 1-7) and develop service growth commercially in line with the client’s business plans.

This role would suit an Architect/Designer that has a strong flare for design and expertise’s within the conceptual stages of projects, excelling in creativity and innovative, informative design.

Working throughout the RIBA Plan of Work the Architect/Designer will be responsible for taking the project from initial feasibility and concept design through to construction, so strong knowledge of UK building regulations, working drawings and construction detailing is important.

The company are BIM users so proficient software skills in Revit are desirable with further skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop being essential.

The suitable applicant will have a full UK Driving licence with the ability to travel throughout UK, as the Architect/ Designer position will require travel to the Head Offices when not on site.

This position is ideally suited to an Architect or a Designer that is qualified at degree level (Chartered Architect or relevant degree with membership to registered body RIBA).
