As one of the largest multi-disciplinary companies in the UK, my client in Birmingham is a market leader that are seeking an enthusiastic BIM Co-ordinator to join and strengthen their Digital Engineering service

I am working closely with the practice on their requirement for an experienced and proactive BIM Co-ordinator to join their busy and award-winning team. The practice pride themselves in delivering client-focused architectural services across a variety of project sectors including: Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Residential, Manufacturing, Hotels & Leisure, Retail and Transport/Infrastructure

With the practice involved in a large volume of diverse and exciting projects, I am looking to speak with a well-rounded individual that is adaptable with good experience and knowledge in a selection of project typologies.

Core responsibilities of the BIM Co-ordinator will span from initial project setup, maintaining project BIM models and associated project BIM support documents, performing BIM coordination exercises and training project team members.

The successful candidate will provide coordination services to a number of project teams throughout the office as well as assisting the BIM Manager with other BIM related tasks including:

  • Creating and maintaining project specific BIM Execution Plans
  • Creating a Federated Navisworks Model and generating Clash Reports
  • Assist in creating Revit content on demand
  • Assist in modelling of complex interfaces and elements

Working knowledge and strong proficiency in Revit is essential, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. My client are keen users of Navisworks, so skills within this are desirable but by no means essential.
