Contract role

A client of mine in Hammersmith is looking to recruit a Clerk of Works to work for them on a 5-month initial contract. The position as a Clerk of Works will be employed to assist in the delivery of council designated PPM projects by ensuring site operatives and construction works comply with relevant contract documents, council requirements and all current legislation and delivered to specification, on time and on budget.

The post holder must have;

  • Experience in liaising with customers and stakeholders
  • A Construction/Engineering/Surveying degree or equivalent
  • Experience with PPM and Capital Works programmes
  • Experience in preparing reports
  • Experience in managing changes and working to agreed budgets
  • Up to date knowledge of legislation and best practices in line with council policies
  • A Full UK Driving Licence
