Stride Resourcing are currently recruiting and are looking to speak with someone with Client-side project management experience rather than contracting side as they are two very different roles.

Our client really needs someone who instructs and manages contractors and budget holding responsibility and preferably someone from a Technically trained background rather than trade background. As within this role amongst other things, the person will be managing all the Fire safety works, so needs a bit of H&S legislation knowledge.

Ideally you have a minimum of 2 – 3 years Project management experience of full project life-cycle:
– Planning regs
– Tender
– managing contractors
– H&S regs

We are looking for someone with more experience in project management (office), surveying etc.

Responsible for the commissioning and delivery of major programmes of work, maintaining assets in accordance with the Investment Plan of the Council. Validating information from the Assets Management Plan to maximise value for money in the procurement of services and maintenance work.

Development and management of repair and replacement programmes of work in accordance with identified maintenance plans to Council owned dwellings.

Actively contribute to the achievement of the wider Housing Landlord aims, operational objectives and future state.

Person specification: A recognised building trade qualification e.g. City/Guilds in a recognised building trade, CIOB or RICS
Personal Attributes: Able to travel around the county, car user essential
