Are you a Property Surveyor looking for a new challenging role? Are you experienced in managing portfolios and making insightful changes? If you are MRICS qualified, then this could be a brilliant opportunity to be involved with!
My client are seeking a Corporate Property Surveyor, to join their vibrant team in Hampshire.
The role:
- You will be the subject expert in all estate’s matters relating to the companies portfolio
- You will be dedicated to managing the estates aspects relating to the portfolio including Landlord & sub Tenant relationships, ongoing management of leases & service charges, lease renewals, lease exits, dilapidations negotiations and licences to alteration.
- Look for opportunities to create projects or save on revenue for the business.
- Work closely in collaboration with the wider Estates team particularly on the management of town planning, community relations and rent/rates payables which are specific to Corporate sites.
- Hold close relationship with the operational functions to oversee any lease matters regarding the corporate sites and any subletting’s to customers.
- Work closely with the legal team to facilitate instructions.
- Be involved in the Corporate site improvement programme and be a major contributor to the Corporate Site Strategy.
- Support and in some cases lead facilities/property improvement programmes in the wider facilities and estates team.
You will require:
- Qualified MRICS
- Have demonstrable experience of supporting a portfolio of mixed assets
- Hold a broad knowledge of managing a corporate property portfolio and the interdependencies within the facilities function.
- Hold excellent communication skills and the ability to network and interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Be confident in making swift commercial decisions when necessary
- Confident interfacing with landlords and tenants and able to manage expectations accordingly.
- Excellent IT knowledge including Windows programmes
