Delivery Manager

  • Permanent
  • Hampshire, United Kingdom
  • £35,000 to £45,000 per annum

A client of mine who owns over 60,000 homes, is dedicated to providing quality and affordable housing and services in sustainable and thriving communities. Our commitment to our values and social purpose puts our customers at the heart of everything we do.

They are currently seeking a Delivery Manager to join their Property Services Team based in their Basingstoke Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational delivery of property services workstreams for the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Patch, managing a team of 12+ in-house trades and external contractors.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Delivery Manager will oversee the delivery of high-quality, customer-centric property maintenance and improvements, including repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance services, and empty homes, both for residential and non-residential properties. They will lead the team by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and supporting individual and team performance.

In addition to this, the Delivery Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our customers and employees, maintaining high-quality data within the property systems, complying with relevant health and safety legislation, and engaging with residents and groups to develop co-created services.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing customer-focused teams, planning workstreams in a customer-centric environment, and operating with commercial acumen. They will have a demonstrable understanding of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation, as well as excellent Microsoft Office and intermediate/advanced Excel skills. A full UK driving license and access to a car are required, as some travel will be involved.

My client can offer a range of benefits, including a flexible working policy, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (with an additional day each year up to 30 days), a discounted shopping and cycling scheme, and industry-leading pension and life cover contributions. They are committed to providing people with flexibility wherever possible, and we are looking for someone who can contribute to our ambitious corporate plan to deliver positive change and growth in a sustainable way.
