Stride (Part of the STR Group of Companies) are currently recruiting on behalf of one of their clients for the following role:

Job title: Electrician (Testing and Inspection)
Employment type: Either temporary to Permanent (or possibly straight permanent)
Proposed Start date: ASAP
Location: Middlesex and Central London (MOD bases)
Salary/package/rate: £negotiable (dependant on experience and qualifications) plus Company vehicle & fuel card

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 8am-5pm with some occasional overtime

Our client are looking for an Electrician to work mobile across various MOD bases within the Middlesex and Central London area. Whilst on site you will be carrying out a range of work including removal of items, installations, will include all aspects of electrical wiring, fault finding, testing and maintenance on these sites. This will involve planned and reactive maintenance on commercial buildings.

As a qualified electrician, you’ll be able to understand and interpret work instructions, drawings and schematic diagrams. You must have a good knowledge of testing and inspection with previous experience of carrying out periodic installation reports along with fault finding.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the industry and you will hold City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) and be fully conversant with the current IEE Wiring Regulations and have BS 7671 to 17th Edition.
and possess the following;
Be able to work on own initiative
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Be willing to drive to various sites in and around the Middlesex and Central London area
