We have a fantastic opportunity for a Health, Safety and Environment Standards Specialist to join a large housing associate / private landlord. They are looking for a subject matter expert to run the development, review and continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) standards, including policies and procedures, across the organisation.

As a successful Health, Safety and Environment Standards Specialist , you will have the following:

  • NEBOSH Certificate / Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience of implementing / managing HSE management systems
  • Proven experience as a HSE Specialist
  • Analytical with the ability to interpret detailed information and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • You should be comfortable making decisions and working autonomously and be happy managing the management systems side of the role, ensuring everything is always kept up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate, manage and improve Health & Safety practices.
  • Assist the Manager to implement an integrated management system to meet the requirements
  • Assist in general risk assessments and produce method statements. Participating in detailed incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Leading the development, review and update health and safety standards documentation, including policies, procedures, guides etc, as owned by health and safety team
