Health, Safety & Environmental Manager
A client of ours who are a leading telecommunications company based in Reading are looking for an experienced SHE Manager to join their Shared Services team on a permanent basis, your role will be to implement and conduct evaluation of programs designed to limit SHE risks to the company, employees and suppliers.
3 days a week in the office, 2 days at home, Tuesdays is the team day in the office other days can be completely flexible
Company car – UK only travel on an adhock basis on average 600 miles every 5 months
– Collaborates in the elaboration of site SHE plans and data
– Conducts relevant training programs
– Conducts worker studies to determine whether specific instances of disease or illness are job-related
– Provides consultation to organizations or agencies on the workplace application of SHE principles, practices or techniques
– Prepares or reviews specifications/orders for the purchase of safety equipment, ensuring that proper features are present and that items conform to SHE standards
– Prepares and maintains all required SHE reports, records and documentation. Run reports and statistics from the systems
– Collates SHE data for submitting to Group and UK
– Knowledge and experience of compliance to the relevant ISO standards and integrated management systems, including methods of continuous improvement
– Equivalent role in related technical field i.e. Construction, IT or Technology background would also be considered
– Telecoms experience desirable
– Critical SHE experience: ISO 45001 & 14001
– Relevant sectors: All multinational companies
– Recognised qualifications for SHE (NEBOSH & IEMA)
– Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
– Must have Environmental experience
– ISO 450001 (Safety)
– ISO 14001 (Environmental) Is essential
