HSE Trainer – Manufacturing – Midlands (Travelling UK wide) – £35,000-£37,000 DOE- Company Car, Bonus, Pension, 25 days Holiday Plus Bank Holidays

A world leading construction manufacturer are looking for a Health, Safety and Environment Trainer to join their team. You will be based in the Midlands however you will be travelling throughout the UK. Your role will be to define training needs by building, developing and deploying Health, Safety and Environmental needs across the business.

As the companies HSE trainer you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position and conduct regular training needs analysis to determine the most relevant and cost-effective training throughout the business. You will work closely with the UK Health & Safety Manager to identify additional training requirements in line with the overall business strategy. It is a requirement to determine these requirements by a prioritisation plan on a 12-month rolling cycle and work with the HSE Training Manager to create a UK wide training calendar.

Skills and Experience

Be an excellent communicator and can make people listen
Experience of designing, developing and delivering training programmes which include; Mobile Plant (FLT, MEWP), Manual Handling, Noise, Dust, Confided paces Management & Categorisation, Working at Height- PASMA Qualified, PUWER, LOTOTO- Energy Isolation.
RTITB Accredited Trainer Or Equivalent
IOSH Managing Safely
Experience of conducting training needs analysis
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to build relationships with both internal and external partners
High attention to detail and able to work independently
Ability to use MS office applications PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook
Flexible and Adaptable Coach
