Are you an IT Systems professional, who is also knowledgeable on Accounting Systems? Have you experience of managing IT systems and supporting departments with data uploads – ideally in an accounting setting?

My client, a national Property Management company, are seeking a IT Systems and Property Accounts Manager, to join their vibrant team in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

The role:

  • Management/Processing of Admin/New Let/Management Fees
  • Payments to clients
  • Portfolio Data Management (new properties)
  • Uploading financial information onto the system (inc., Service Charge Budgets and Invoice Instalment Payments, Deposit Pay-overs / Deposit Retention / Deposit Registration, Receipt Processing, Bank Reconciliations)
  • Carrying out Invoice Processing, Payment Runs, Internal/External Reporting, Lease Management (assignments), Charge raising for all PRS clients.
  • Ensure that all backlogs are communicated and managed with minimal disruption to service and perception
  • Resolution of IT and technical issues
  • Arrange monthly meetings with the team
  • Completing the staff on-boarding and off-boarding process
  • Day to day management of personnel within the PRS Accounts Team
  • Support and problem solving for the business
  • Assisting other departments with any necessary requirements
  • Ad hoc duties
  • Managing small team

You will require:

  • Ideally, duel experience in IT systems/support and Residential Property Management Accounting Experience
  • Ideally, MRI Qube Experience
  • Formal qualification either AAT or IT/Systems.
  • Ideally have knowledge of leases.
  • Minimum of 2 years Supervisory Accounting/Systems experience
  • Awareness of general accounting procedures, GDPR, regulatory standards & compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills displaying a mature attitude in all verbal and written communications.
  • Strong and influential leadership skills that follow a ‘can-do’ approach with the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels.
  • Highly self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work under own initiative, takes ownership of responsibilities and drives positive change.
  • Ability to work under pressure, efficiently and in a timely manner together with excellent decision making capabilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, including intermediate excel skills (v-lookups and pivot tables).
