A client of mine who provides industrial services, hazardous waste transportation, storage and treatment are looking to recruit a Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join their team.
As a QHSE Manager you will be in charge of the following; Training and Competence, Risk Assessments, Auditing, Management Systems & Accreditations, Fire/ Emergency Planning, Liaison with Enforcement Agencies, Incidents, Injuries, Near Misses, legal compliance, control of Harmful & Dangerous Substances, Communication & Consultation, Maintenance of Equipment, and Environmental issues.
It is crucial that you have experience within a similar industry and can hit the ground running with this position. You will need to comply with Health & Safety requirements byt making sure all staff do regular and relevant training, adhere to policies, procedures, risk assessments, method statements and follow safe systems of work. As a health & Safety manager you will also looking to make behavioural safety changes and report any H&S issues/accidents and near misses you your managers immediately.
NEBOSH General Certificate and / Or Diploma
ISO OHAS Certification qualification
Bsc Chemistry or related discipline
COTC 9 WAMITAB) Treatment and Transfer
QHSE Management experience
Chemical / Petrochemical or Hazardous Waste Background
