Stride Resourcing are currently looking for an Experienced Schools Facilities & Compliance Manager, to oversee services provided to Luton Schools.
Initial 3 month assignment,
Act as the senior point of contact for schools and respective clients in regard to contract management matters and be responsible for development of the contract and client relationship by leading on and ensuring that relevant due diligence within the contract has created value. Ensure that all contract milestones are met to ensure that projects remain to timescale, taking any necessary remedial action necessary with Private Sector Partners, principal contractors, contractors or sub-contractors as appropriate. This role will require close collaboration with Senior Managers from the Schools Team and Senior Project Managers in relation to all major projects being developed, procured and delivered.
Act as main contact and Service Manager for the operational services being delivered under BSF (Building Schools for the Future) and PFI Agreements to the schools and other relevant facilities (these include soft and hard FM and lifecycle maintenance). This will involve contract administration, performance monitoring and overview of the payment mechanism, managing service relationships, problem resolution, service variations and overseeing benchmarking and market testing processes at relevant times.

Able to manage periods of heavy and conflicting demands
Able to prepare and present complex reports and undertake formal presentations on complex matters in a clear and comprehensible manner to both professional and lay audiences (CRITICAL)
Able to use ICT to enhance service delivery, analyse and interpret complex data, produce meaningful statistics and write reports
Accurate and thorough attention to detail.
Able to understand financial reports, legal documents and budget management. (CRITICAL)
Proactive and able to work independently and exercise professional judgement.
Knowledge of building Issues and the lifecycle of buildings (CRITICAL)
In depth knowledge and understanding of soft and hard FM contracts, payment mechanisms and build contracts (CRITICAL)
Education and Training
A relevant professional qualification in a construction or built environment related area or relevant experience (CRITICAL)
Prince 2 practitioner
