Senior Architectural Technologist

I am currently working with a medium sized architectural practice based in Oxford who are recruiting for a professional and driven Senior Architectural Technologist who is strong in both design and construction.
The practice specialise in the residential sector with the majority of their work coming in private house work and work to historic buildings.
Alongside the development of new build residential projects, the practice is renowned for their excellence within the repair, restoration and conservation work on projects that typically start at £1m with their most prestigious to date at £50m.
I am looking to speak with Senior Architectural Technologists who have a passion for the residential sector and are comfortable working throughout all RIBA Stages.
The Senior Technologist will be responsible for leading the detailed design process and coordinating design information. This means that you will be liaising with appropriate authorities such as planning and building inspections, when producing documentation for statutory approval.
Naturally, the senior technologist will need to understand the technical side of design and ensure that the right materials are used, and that building regulations and other technical criteria are met, as you will be producing, analysing and advising on detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes to be used in projects.
As a Senior Technologist, there is a great deal of responsibility with one of the most important briefs coming in the form of nurturing and managing the work of trainee technologists to help them develop their skills.
Strong skills within AutoCAD are essential and the suitable senior technologist will have a logical, analytical and creative approach to problem solving.
