Senior Fire Risk Assessor
A client of ours is looking for an experienced Senior Fire Risk Assessor due to the continuing success and the growth of their business to eight offices in the UK and are now in an exciting position of searching for their next Senior Fire Risk Assessor to join their team.

As a Senior Fire Risk Assessor you will be responsible for conducting site based fire risk assessments within a variety of sectors, including industrial, commercial and residential within a specified timescale, using bespoke technology to collect data via a tablet.

Further details of what you will be doing:
*Undertake regular communication with our Client’s team to co-ordinate programmes of inspections and remedial works
*Prepare and review simple fire strategies for a range of buildings
*Ensure buildings conform to the latest Fire Related building regulations and technical standards
*Provide a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working to fixed budgets and working within tight deadlines
*Authorise and Sign off Fire risk assessments before submission to clients
*Conduct annual internal audits on Fire risk assessors
*Offer advice on fire risk assessments, compartmentation surveys and cladding examinations
*Review client’s requirements, produce simple fee proposals and calculate applicable fees
*Input and support tender bid writing and submissions
*Support other fire risk assessors with answering fire safety queries from other disciplines

What we need from you:
*Significant experience as a Senior Fire Risk Assessor and/or Team Leader with experience of fire risk assessments and fire safety
*Experience of undertaking complex fire risk assessments, compartmentation surveys and cladding examinations including testing of ACM’s, profiling of portfolio buildings in terms of fire risk and assessment requirements
*Sectors need to include housing, local government, school, colleges, universities, hospitals and office accommodation
*Have commercial awareness and has experience of working in a commercial consultancy practice
*Membership of a recognised fire institution
*Excellent knowledge of current legislation and good practice guidance
*Willingness to travel throughout the South with possible occasional overnight stays
*Full UK driving licence
