Senior Project Engineer

To provide professional and technical support on project engineering issues within the Integrated Project Team (IPT), leading assurance of asset design and construction, assuring that it is in accordance with organisational and sponsor requirements, standards and policies.
To directly support the Head of Engineering & Environment and the Lead Engineering & Environment Manager in coordinating engineering technical assurance within the IPT, as per the HS2 assurance requirements, through production, checking and submission of assurance evidence.
Additionally to support the Head of Engineering and Environment in coordinating the discharge of their duties of NEC3 Supervisor and Principal Designer Representative as mandated within the CDM Regulations 2015.
‘Experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering standards, activity on large complex major projects/ programmes within a complex infrastructure delivery programme
Experience in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions including the management and planning of multiple workstreams.
Experience in technical leadership on most discipline-specific technical and engineering principles, strong communication and effective information management, data creation and visualisation skills.
Experience of performing roles of NEC 3 Supervisor and Pincipal Designer under CDM regulations 2015.
Experience of Highways Design and Engineering Preferable.
