Site Facilities Lead – Greenwich, London – circa £70,000 + Car Allow. + Bonus + Benefits – Permanent

My client is an industry leader supporting infrastructure on a truly global basis. They are looking for an experienced Manager to lead, strategic facilities services across a large and demanding research and manufacturing site, overseeing the delivery of hard & soft services and projects at their UK HQ in Greenwich.

With a technical background biased to Mechanical or Electrical engineering and working at a senior management level you will be responsible for the leadership of the onsite facilities team, subcontracted suppliers and projects, and act as the main interface to manufacturing. Managing the site operational budgets (facilities and CAPEX), you will work to ensure that targets are met and exceeded (safety, delivery, quality, adherence to schedule, efficiency, capacity planning) at optimum cost.

Responsible for the legal compliance of all site related periodic checks and preventative maintenance you will ensure that all site related procedures and risk assessments up to date and will represent the company in external audits.

Charismatic, with strong leadership skills, this is a senior appointment and you will have the capacity to engage at all levels you must hold the following to be considered:

5 years + people management experience in a leadership role within an operational environment (engineering/manufacturing background)

Degree or equivalent – ideally in engineering discipline

Experienced in the delivery of total facilities management service streams

NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.

Excellent oral and written communication skills
