(Site Manager with new build School experience)

Stride Resourcing are working with a Regional Building Contractor and are assisting with the search for a Site Manager in Dorset
A Site Manager/Finishing Foreman is required for a £5million School project in Dorset.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Project Manager and overseeing the internals and finishing trades for the Project.
Site Manager role
As Site Manager reporting to the site-based Project Manager your duties will include: –
Providing leadership, and energy.
Controlling on site prelims.
Ensuring the construction works run to strict programme.
Managing pre-construction activities.
Maintaining strict quality control procedures.
Management of the supply chain.
Management of change – client/supply chain.
Participate in regular site meetings with all interested parties.
Conducting regular site safety checks.
Being proactive in the identification and resolution of problems.
Maintaining effective long-term relationships with the customer and their representatives/advisors.
Ensuring the project team comply with the Companies Business Management System.
Being proactive in the identification and resolution of problems.
Reviewing methods of working, alternative materials etc to maximise commercial profitability.
Seeking and developing ongoing continuous improvement.
Providing aftercare services to the customer.
Implementing and maintaining the Construction Strategy and Policies for Sustainability,
Health and Safety,
Quality, Environmental,
Training and Development
Required Experience and Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years site Management experience
First Aid
