Reporting To – Site Agent
Responsible For – Engineers, Supporting Foreman to manage SCP & Operatives
Job Purpose – To assist the Site Agent for the delivery of resource to programme requirements to support on site activities and actively promote company H&S polices. Represent the client and uphold the highest standards for Health & Safety, along with Quality, site appearance and environment.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities:

  • Ensure Site Safety, promote safe working methods to ensure all safety procedures are carried out.
  • Manage delivery of resources (Foreman / Operatives/ SCP) to satisfy programme and specification requirements.
  • Provide experienced operational role on the contract to provide assistance to Site Agents.
  • Complete required audits and tool box talks along with daily briefings and site inductions.
  • Ensure risk assessments are identified and put in place proper control measures and the appropriate methods for safe practice.
  • Daily recording to monitor progress / records / permits.
  • Manage daily plant and vehicle check sheets.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and disseminate information.
  • Robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting.
  • Use the Integrated Management System (IMS), to promote consistency and high standards across all activities and to capture and promote continuous improvement at all times.
  • Attend progress / any other key contract meetings.
  • Actively foster positive staff morale.
  • Willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of management.

  • Achieving divisional safety targets.
  • Achieving divisional financial targets.
  • Achieving scheme completion dates.
  • Minimal stakeholder impact and complaints.
  • Positive feedback from the public, colleagues, Managers and Client.
  • Deliver the client’s needs and expectations and meeting contract KPIs.

  • At all times to adhere to company procedures with regard to Health & Safety and where applicable to ensure all team members do like wise.
  • At all times to behave in a way that supports the company’s stated Vision and Values and where applicable to ensure all team members do likewise.
  • Ensure that new starters and Apprentices are supervised by experienced work team members with strict control measures in place to control their work activities.
  • Deputise for the Programme Delivery Manager where appropriate.

  • NRSWA Supervisor
  • First Aid Trained
  • CSCS Supervisors Card
